The lists are built from a large public-domain English dictionary of more than 168,551 words, spanning lengths from two to fifteen letters. Common, everyday words are shown first so the most useful results are always at the top.
The lists use a standard English word source that covers the vast majority of words accepted in casual play. Official tournaments use their own dictionaries, so a few rare entries may differ, but for home games and study these lists are excellent.
